"Learn To Drive The Easy Way." ©

Foreword

This book has been a gradual development over some years. It has been fascinating in that every time I opened it, more information seemed to arrive in my head about the amount of knowledge that should be directed to a learner driver.

I started teaching students to drive some forty years ago and have been amazed at how much one can learn every day about a subject that one thinks one has a reasonable amount of knowledge.

There is a lot of information on the internet about driving, but not very much on developing strong basics. This is so important in your development to be a safe driver. After many hours of typing, changing text and more typing, I trust that you will find this book helpful to you in being an efficient, safe driver where ever you are around the world.

Road rules as much as possible, have been deliberately left out, as rules can change from State to State or Country to Country.

Having taught new drivers from many countries who already had lessons in their home town, there may be some very important points in this book that will help Mum's and Dad's who are teaching their son or daughter to drive the family car. Even some professional Driving Instructors may learn a point or two!

Good luck with your driving. Remember, the key to being safe when driving on the road is be like a swan, smooth and graceful.
